Tidbits Vol. 1 & 2 are two full colour mini comic collections of short autobio comics about things from cheese to haircuts to mental health. The comics are made in a variety of media including coloured pencil, traditional inking, and inking and colouring digitally. I used Unipin fineliner pens, Uniball fine ‘eye’ pens, misc coloured pencils and the app Procreate on iPad Pro to create these comics.

Things you will find inside: haircuts, rollerskates, anxiety, front doors, swimming, skateboarding, pandemic comics, diary style comics and cheese. If any of these things grab your fancy, then dive on in.

Fun fact: The covers are homages to Daniel Clowes’ Ghost World and  Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life (Scott Pilgrim Vol 1). Both comics (although not autobio) were super important to informing how I write my own (predominantly autobio) comics.

Recommended reading age: 8+ years. There are no swears, graphic violence or nudity; however, a few of the comics discuss my struggles with anxiety and my mental health. So, adults, please read the comics beforehand or read them along with your young human so you can discuss any questions or concerns that come up.
